Justin Bieber was famously arrested for racing a Lamborghini through the streets of Miami in 2014. He is one star who enjoys fast exotic cars. Now, Lamborghini’s largest rival, Ferrari, appears to have banned Justin Bieber from buying any of their cars. Why, though? Here is what we currently know regarding Justin’s status with Ferrari.
Why is Justin Bieber on Ferrari’s blacklist?
The Italian publication Il Giornale was the first to report on Justin’s blacklisting by the luxury car company. According to the magazine, Justin has been forbidden from purchasing or driving Ferrari cars in the future due to his previous behavior with Ferraris.
Ferrari is highly particular about who can own their cars. The amount of maintenance and care they expect from their owners is also specific. Ferrari does not take kindly to anyone mistreating their vehicles because they have such a strong attachment to them. Justin allegedly grabbed the attention of the brand by performing some less-than-ideal things with his 2011 Ferrari 458. (dramarnathansdentalcare.com)
Justin bought the new car in 2011, and it has been through a lot in the last ten years. According to The Drive, Justin once misplaced his sports car for weeks after partying too hard in Beverly Hills. Furthermore, Justin had that same Ferrari repainted electric blue and refitted with a Liberty Walk body kit at West Coast Customs.
Justin flashed the newly modified Ferrari in an Instagram photo with West Coast Customs star Ryan Friedlinghaus back in 2016. The car was eventually auctioned off in 2017.
According to Il Giornale, Justin’s irregular behavior as a Ferrari owner has enraged the brand. It has taken steps to prevent him from ever becoming a customer again. Neither Justin nor Ferrari have offered official statements on the topic as of this writing.
Other celebrities
In terms of high-profile celebrities who Ferrari has blacklisted, Justin is far from alone. According to the publication, other celebrities who are on Ferrari’s bad side include actor Nicholas Cage, rapper 50 Cent, and Kim Kardashian.
Justin, who has owned many Ferraris throughout the years, may find the ban difficult to bear. Nonetheless, with a fleet that includes Rolls Royce, Maseratis, and other high-end brands, the singer has a variety of alternatives.
