Hollywood actor Johnny Depp on his fourth day at the trails concluded his testimony in the defamation case against Amber Heard. He had filed a case of defamation against his ex-wife Amber Heard. He claimed that he was a victim of domestic violence during their relationship and that he was “broken” by the time their marriage ended.
The day ended with Depp’s lawyers revealing recordings from a discussion that occurred after Heard obtained a restraining order against him in 2016. He was questioned about audio recordings of his disputes with Heard, as well as if she was the only one who was concerned about his alcoholism. “Sir, if anyone had a problem with my drinking, at any time in my life, it was me,” Depp replied. “The only person I’ve abused in my life is myself.”

She was portraying herself as a “public figure representing domestic abuse.” Depp alleges that the report cost him acting opportunities; despite the fact that he was not mentioned in the article. Hence, he is suing Amber for $50 million. The duo was only married for a span of a year. However, there have been accusations of violence and harm from both sides. They announced their divorce via a statement in 2016.
The trial that began on April 11 will last for six weeks. Heard has yet to give her testimony. Depp claimed that some of the texts produced as evidence by Heard’s lawyer were designed to be “irreverent” or based on Monty Python movies under the direction of his attorney. Johnny Depp said he often uses comedy to deal with “difficult or unpleasant situations.” He mentioned that he would leave the room or leave their house to de-escalate conflicts with Heard. Furthermore, discussing the tape of 2016, Johnny openly accepted that he was a victim of domestic violence.
