Keanu Reeves’ first look in John Wick: Chapter 4
The movies in the series, which debuted in 2014, have certainly received plaudits for their world-building, combat, acrobatics, and set pieces. Nothing about the film’s plot can be seen in the image. Wick is seen with candles that are just out of focus in the front. Considering the image’s ambiguity, the franchise has given fans a lot to consider. Additionally, a trailer was released at CinemaCon which is yet to be officially made available to the public. In that trailer, Reeves‘ character was shown hitting vehemently into the wall to the extent where his knuckles begin bleeding. In another scenario, he is also shown violently beating two opponents in the lobby of an art museum.
Given that every movie in the series has outperformed its previous, Chad Stahelski’s film has some high anticipation. Variety reports that the first John Wick movie made $86 million globally in 2014, backed by $171.5 million for Chapter 2 of John Wick in 2017. Chapter 3 of John Wick Parabellum in 2019 made $327.3 million. John Wick: Chapter 4 is the first part of the two-part finale film. The 5th part will mark the end of the film series. Moreover, along with numerous other actors, Reeves is joined in “John Wick: Chapter 4” by Lance Reddick, Rina Sawayama, Donnie Yen, and Shamier Anderson. The film hits theatres on May 23 next year.
