Jeremy Renner accident: Actor remains critical after undergoing surgery

After being hurt in a snowplow accident, actor Jeremy Renner had surgery. Renner is still in an intensive care unit and is still critical, according to a spokesman for the actor. In a Sunday accident, Renner, who is best known for playing Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, reportedly suffered acute chest damage and orthopedic injuries.

“Jeremy’s family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, Washoe County Sheriff, Reno City Mayor Hillary Schieve and others,” read a statement. “They are also tremendously overwhelmed and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from his fans.”
