Iconic! 'RRR' scripts history Again, 932 tickets get sold out in just 98 seconds at a US theatre

In the west, the buzz around SS Rajamouli’s “RRR” is far from gone. The movie, which debuted in India in March, is still drawing large crowds to theaters in America. The world’s largest IMAX theater recently had the movie on the schedule. It turns out that the 98 seconds it took to sell out all of the screening tickets! (https://www.solidstonefabrics.com/)

RRR was shown at the Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles as a part of a Beyond Fest project. It’s anticipated that SS Rajamouli, Jr. NTR, and Ram Charan would attend the screening. The show was completely sold out in just two minutes, setting a new record, and proving that the buzz around the movie is genuine.

Beyond Fest’s official account on Twitter informed followers of the news. This was a first for an Indian film, according to the organizers, and Beyond Fest termed it “historic.”

The tweet read, “It’s official and it’s historic. @RRRMovie sold out the @ChineseTheatres @IMAX in 98 seconds. There has never been a screening like this of an Indian film before because there has never been a film like RRR before. Thank you @ssrajamouli @tarak9999 @AlwaysRamCharan @mmkeeravaani.”

Although the movie was previously shown at a Chinese theater in October 2022, this screening is unique because the RRR crew will be there to engage with viewers.

In the US, the movie has enjoyed a phenomenal run. Rajamouli received the Best Director Award from the New York Film Critics Circle on Wednesday night.

Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, and Rajamouli, who is the film’s leading performer, will present RRR at the Golden Globes on January 10 where it is nominated for Best Foreign Film and Best Song for “Naatu Naatu.” RRR is seen as a front-runner in a number of categories and has also made it to the Oscar shortlist.
