Harry Styles set to play Thanos' brother Eros in an upcoming Marvel film?

Harry Styles is likely to play Thanos’ brother Eros in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to Variety, the musician-turned-actor announced during the premiere of Eternals that he would play Thanos’ brother Eros in future Marvel flicks. The character’s description is “carefree” and “womanizing,” in contrast to Thanos’ power-hungering tendencies.

Harry Styles and his rumored involvement in “future Marvel films” as Thanos’ brother Eros comes ahead of the November 5 release of “Eternals” in the US. Angelina Jolie, Kumail Nanjiani, Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, and Kit Harington appear in the MCU film. Oscar-winner Chloé Zhao (“Nomadland”) directed the movie.

According to The New York Post, the Greek god of love and sex of the same name (the counterpart to Roman god Cupid) inspires the character of Eros. It’s also worth noting that “eros” is the etymological root of phrases like “erotic,”. It perfectly describes the seductive “Watermelon Sugar” singer.

Meanwhile, Thor beheaded Thanos in Endgame. It is before resurfacing as a prior form of himself and being snapped in the film’s final epic battle sequence. It is unclear whether the next film would continue the plot or take a look back at the pair’s past.

The film Eternals, directed by Oscar-winner Chloé Zhao, will hit theaters in November. It tells the story of a species of everlasting creatures with remarkable skills that live secretly on Earth. Frightening monsters, the Deviants, reappear after everyone thought that they are extinct for a long time. Therefore, the Eternals forcefully reassemble to once again safeguard mankind.
