Las Vegas, NV: Victoria Goodwin, wife of Ghost Adventures star Aaron Goodwin, has been arrested for allegedly attempting to hire a hitman to murder her husband, according to reports. She was taken into custody on March 6 in Nevada and charged with solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
Authorities revealed that the case came to light after correction officers intercepted messages exchanged between Victoria Goodwin and an inmate in Florida. The communications allegedly detailed plans for the assassination, including updates on Aaron Goodwin’s whereabouts while he was filming in California.
Chilling details of the alleged plot
According to reports, Victoria Goodwin texted the inmate, “Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce.” Officials claim the scheme was set in motion in October 2024 and came to their attention when they confiscated the inmate’s illegal phone.
Among the messages sent, one reportedly stated: “He’s asleep right now in the hotel room… I need to know what’s going on. Can I get an update? Was it done?” Authorities believe she planned to pay the alleged hitman $11,515 for the crime.
While acknowledging that the couple had “marital problems,” Victoria Goodwin told investigators that the discussions with the inmate were merely her “daydreaming or fantasizing about being without her husband.”

Aaron Goodwin, a paranormal investigator and television personality from Portland, Oregon, is best known for his role on the hit series Ghost Adventures. He has also worked on My Hometown, The Perfect Shot, and as a camera operator for the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
In 2022, Aaron and Victoria tied the knot at Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion. They do not have children but are avid animal lovers, having adopted a kitten named Dodger in 2024 along with two pet rats and a dog. According to TV Overmind, he has also captured behind-the-scenes footage at several movie premieres.
Following the shocking revelation, Goodwin expressed his disbelief, telling TMZ that he believed he was in a “happy marriage” and was blindsided by the arrest.
