The victorious Apple has gotten their trusted hands-on the thrilling project of epic star power’ proportions after winning a fierce bidding war. According to Deadline, following the blockbuster Ocean’s Eleven trilogy and the critically praised Burn, George Clooney and Brad Pitt will reunite for a film.
Following Reading, we’ll see the Hollywood best pals star in an untitled thriller. Jon Watts will direct the movie. He also wrote and directed Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Surprisingly, as part of the contract, the film will have a wide theater release. George and Brad will portray two lone-wolf fixers who have the same assignment. Clooney’s Smokehouse Pictures, Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment, and Watts will collaborate on the film. According to Deadline, the two Oscar winners’ prices are comparable to several of the recent “star package” deals. Furthermore, The Tender Bar director and Bullet Train star left an eight-figure sum on the table to factor in and assure the theatrical release component.
Surprisingly, Clooney and Pitt’s massive film package went on the market last week, attracting seven to ten bidders. Netflix, Sony, Universal, Warner Bros., MGM, Lionsgate, Amazon, and Annapurna were among the other bidders.
