Freida Pinto discloses details of her secret wedding to her fiancé and photographer Cory Tran. They got married when they were under quarantine due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ star states when they got engaged in November 2019, they expected to have “the most wonderful wedding,” but the pandemic intervened.
“I should clear the air. I wasn’t planning a big fat Indian wedding. It was just going to be something pretty and simple… But then COVID-19 happened and it’s still happening. We just realized we were going to be planning this for the rest of our lives. Probably never doing it,” she said on The Kelly Clarkson Show. Freida said the couple decided to visit California and tied the knot. She adds, “Honestly, I have to say if any of you have planned a wedding, you probably know this, I do not want stomach ulcers from planning my own wedding. This was perfect! We got married and then we got to go home and took an afternoon nap.”

Freida claims, Aaron told her, “I want you in my life forever, Freida. So I’m going to introduce you to my friend.” Freida posted a series of pictures in an off-shoulder swimsuit on Instagram.
She captioned it, “Wow! What a year I have had and the growth and learning have been immense! I can’t wait to walk into this new phase with peace, grace, gratitude, and an open mind. My heart beats with love and anticipation for this new life.” The 37-year-old actress is expecting her first child with her husband Tran.
