DC villains who haven’t been in a movie yet

Since 1934, DC has existed in some form or another. With so many years under its belt, it’s easy to believe that DC Comics has a massive cast of characters. This contains heroes, villains, and an inexhaustible cast of supporting characters. When it comes to feature film adaptations of comic books, DC has a lot of experience. While they’ve been taking their characters to the big screen for a long time, the last decade has seen a massive increase in the number of movies and characters making the transition. Even yet, there are a few outstanding DC villains who have yet to appear in a live-action film (yet).

DC villains who haven’t appeared in a movie

Mongul

The Lord of Warworld is only second to Darkseid as one of the most terrifying DC villains. He’s been at odds with Superman for a long time and was responsible for the destruction of Coast City. That deed was the catalyst for Hal Jordan’s transformation into a villain.

Despite his popularity in comic books, he only appears in a few animated shows on an irregular basis. Mongul appears to be a perfect villain for numerous of the DCEU’s next films, depending on where the franchise goes with its current slate of films.

Brainiac

Brainiac has proven to be a dangerous enemy time and time again. Most individuals do not appreciate his objective of collecting and preserving unique civilizations. Brainiac doesn’t seem to mind, and his quest is rarely interrupted.

Many people are unaware that Brainiac has gone close to being the villain in a live-action film more times than they know. Superman Reborn, Superman Lives, and Superman: The Man of Steel were all slated to include him. Brainiac was included in one draught of the Superman III script, but he was eventually removed.

Darkseid

Darkseid is the DC universe’s most evil entity. His strength is incredible, but he also has his own planet and a nearly invincible army. Few heroes are capable of taking him on head-on. He causes issues for even big groups of heroes.

Over the years, the figure has appeared in several animated films and television shows. He’s been referenced in a few DCEU flicks but has yet to make an appearance. He’ll appear in both New Gods and Zack Snyder’s version of the Justice League. Nonetheless, it is something that should have occurred by now.

Captain Cold

For someone like The Flash, a man with a freeze pistol shouldn’t be a problem. He doesn’t have any superpowers, but he does have a very amazing pistol. Captain Cold, on the other hand, is a superb strategist and natural leader who is always ready to go to any length to succeed. As a result, he’s one of Flash’s most formidable foes.

Captain Cold has a significant role in the Arrowverse, notably in the shows The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow. He’s also in some animated films throughout the years. However, the character has yet to appear in a live-action feature film.

Eclipso

The genesis tale of Eclipso is arguably the most badass of all time. He was both the corporeal embodiment of God’s wrath and the Angel of Retribution. Those are some impressive titles. Then he turned evil, and the Spectre took his place.

Though he has only featured in a few animated flicks, this is one of DC’s deadliest and most formidable villains. Eclipso will make his live-action television debut in the second season of Stargirl, however, no plans to use him in any films that appear to be in the works.

Vandal Savage

Vandal Savage is undoubtedly in the race for the title of oldest villain in DC Comics. A meteorite gave him enhanced intelligence and other extraordinary talents after he was born as a caveman. He tormented the planet Earth and several of its heroes for thousands of years.

In addition to the Arrowverse, Savage has played the bad guy in some animated films. There are currently no real plans to bring him into any live-action films that fans are aware of. However, he’s an intriguing character with a lot of cinematic potentials.

Metallo

Kryptonite is the substance that creates the most trouble for Superman. The only thing scarier is an enraged cyborg fueled by Kryptonite who is hell-bent on destroying Superman. Metallo, one of Superman’s most vehement foes, revels in this.

While he has appeared in animated films and live-action television shows, he has yet to participate in a live-action film. Rumors were that he is going to be the villain in the original Man of Steel sequel. When that project was shelved in favor of Batman v Superman, Metallo was supposedly replaced with Doomsday.
