In March 2022, all of Netflix’s Marvel series, such as Daredevil and Jessica Jones, will be available on Disney+. Over the last year, due to Disney’s streaming service, Marvel Studios has expanded the Marvel Cinematic Universe to the small screen. Marvel TV has produced several live-action episodes on Netflix in the past. Despite their popularity, these shows were abruptly discontinued in 2018.
Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and other Marvel shows were due to exit Netflix at the end of February, as fans had noted. This sparked speculation about what would happen to the programs in the future. But, Marvel fans need not worry or wait much now. Disney has officially confirmed that all seasons of the Marvel Netflix shows are releasing on Disney+ on March 16, 2022.
May not be available on Disney+ in US
To name a few, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, are among the newcomers to Disney+ in March, according to an official press release. The press announcement was issued by Disney+ Canada, where STAR is a part of the streaming service for titles that would otherwise be available on Hulu in the United States. It’s still unclear whether the Netflix Marvel series would be available on Disney+ in the United States.
Even though Disney + is ready to broadcast the series, it’ll be challenging for them to present violent series with certain levels of nudity. They have positioned themselves as a family-friendly service. Netflix on the other hand is known for its adult content with high violence and nudity. There is doubt if they might alter the episodes to tone down sequences that were too violent or sexual. So far, there’s no indication that it will modify the content of the episodes from what they were on Netflix. Well, nonetheless on a positive note, fans will have access to their favorite shows soon.
