Unexpected performance at Dino’s Lounge
Coldplay’s lead singer, Chris Martin, surprised patrons at Dino’s Lounge in Las Vegas with an impromptu performance on Saturday. Disguised in a ginger wig, oversized glasses, and holding a balloon, the 47-year-old artist sang “All My Love,” a track from Coldplay’s upcoming album, Moon Music, set to be released on October 4.
The performance followed Martin’s appearance as a special guest at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Festival, and the band shared the moment on Instagram, captioning the video, “All my love, live at Dino’s, Las Vegas.”
Fans react to Martin’s disguise in Vegas
Fans quickly flooded the comments section with playful remarks. One user compared Martin’s look to Austin Powers, while another joked, “this guy just might have a chance in music.” Other fans chimed in with admiration for his unique voice and performance.
Coldplay’s highly anticipated Asia tour
In addition to the surprise performance, Coldplay recently announced the Asia dates for their Music of the Spheres world tour. The band will play three shows at Mumbai’s DY Patil Sports Stadium on January 18, 19, and 21, 2025. Ticket sales for the concerts were met with overwhelming demand, selling out within minutes.
The Music of the Spheres world tour, launched in 2021, promotes Coldplay’s ninth and tenth studio albums, Music of the Spheres (2021) and Moon Music (2024). This marks the band’s return to touring after choosing not to tour their 2019 album, Everyday Life, due to environmental concerns.
