The annual Country Music Awards 2024 event was a fun evening, filled with lively performances, top awards, heartfelt tributes, and much more. Hosted by Kelsea Ballerini, this year’s event brought together country music stars at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, to celebrate the genre.
Jelly Roll emerged as a standout winner, securing three trophies. He claimed Male Video of the Year and Video of the Year for “Need a Favor,” as well as CMT Performance of the Year.
Other winners included Lainey Wilson, who won Female Video for ”Watermelon Moonshine”, Dan + Shay won the Duo/Group Video of the Year for ”Save Me the Trouble.”
In addition to honoring deserving artists, the evening saw captivating performances by fan-favorite artists like Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, Megan Moroney, Old Dominion, and Jelly Roll. Country music icon Toby Keith was also celebrated with a moving performance by Brooks & Dunn, Lainey Wilson, and Sammy Hagar, who performed Keith’s hits “Should’ve Been a Cowboy” and “I Love This Bar,” among others.
