BTS sets a new record on Billboard's Digital Song Sales chart

BTS has set a new milestone by spending the most weeks at the top of Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart as of this week. The group’s most recent release, a collaboration with Coldplay for the beautiful track ‘My Universe,’ remains at number 12 on the Hot100 chart.

Billboard officially confirmed on October 11, BTS and Coldplay’s hit tune had scored No. 12 on its most recent Hot 100 chart. Last week, the single debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. “The Feels” debuts at No. 5 on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart this week. It makes TWICE only the second K-pop girl group in history ever to make the top 5.

Billboard says the song was down 11 notches from the previous week’s No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart. It ranks the most popular songs of the week in the United States by blending streaming, airplay and sales data. My Universe is BTS’ sixth debut atop the chart after “Dynamite,” “Butter,” “Permission to Dance,” “Life Goes On” and “Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat).”

The song will be on Coldplay’s ninth studio album

The music, an upbeat song about love transcending all barriers, was co-written in Korean and English by the two acts and produced by hitmaker Max Martin. The song will be on Coldplay’s ninth studio album, “Music of the Spheres,” which will come out on Friday.

TWICE debuted at 83rd on the Billboard Hot 100. The same week with their first English single.”The Feels,” becoming the fourth K-pop artist to do so following Wonder Girls, BTS, and BLACKPINK.”The Feels” was ranked fifth on the Digital Song Sales chart. As well as tenth and twelfth on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. and Billboard Global 200 charts, respectively.

This week, the song debuts at No. 80 on the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100. The tune depicts the sensation of falling in love at first sight. It has a captivating melody.
