The titular patriarch and his family’s summer will be ruined when ruptured water main creates a massive sinkhole outside their restaurant. Hence, blocking the entrance indefinitely and putting the business in jeopardy. Then, children Tina, Louise, and Gene try to solve a mystery that could save Bob’s Burgers.
Along with series co-stars Kristen Schaal, John Roberts, Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman, Larry Murphy, Zach Galifianakis, and David Wain, H. Jon Benjamin returns to lead the cast of The Bob’s Burgers Movie. The film adaptation has been in development since late 2017 when 20th Century Fox first announced the project. Bouchard submitted an approved script the following year. However, production would not initiate until late 2020. The cast and crew began working remotely due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The Bob’s Burgers Movie has finally acquired a May 2022 theatrical release date. It also followed repeated release delays due to the extended production schedule.

The official Bob’s Burgers Movie trailer has been in the works for nearly five years. It is likely to excite longstanding fans of the Fox sitcom. The video wonderfully emphasizes the film’s more intricate animation work. It is being dedicated to genre veterans Tuck Tucker and Dale Baer, who contributed their final animation skills before they died in late 2020 and early 2021, respectively. In addition, the teaser has Easter eggs and references to several popular running gags and characters from the show. It includes Louise’s Kuchi Kopi, which featured in her fever dream episode “Flu-ouise”. Also, Linda reusing Gene’s burger suit in the most in-character way possible.
