Black Panther 2 set video highlights King T’Challa’s memorial

Black Panther 2 set video

Black Panther 2 set video teases a memorial for King T’Challa, the character played by Chadwick Boseman, who died in the film. Chadwick Boseman, a well-known actor, died suddenly in August 2020.

Boseman is a hero in his own right, recognized for his inspirational example and charitable efforts. Marvel fans will always remember him for portraying Black Panther in the MCU. Marvel Studios has stated that they would not replace his part to commemorate his legacy.

Principal photography on Black Panther 2 began in June 2021. But the first look at the forthcoming Marvel blockbuster came in the form of a surprise. It was a set video of Black Panther 2. It appeared to reveal Wakanda’s royal room.

The original Black Panther received a well-deserved Academy Award for production design. The sequel is definitely being treated with the same love and attention. But, upon closer inspection, there are pillars engraved with inscriptions in the Wakandan language. They are suggesting that this set film is more important than anybody thought.

Because Marvel published The Wakanda Files, an official in-universe book in October 2020, it is feasible to translate words from Wakandan. This claims to be Shuri’s record. It even foreshadows WandaVision’s Scarlet Witch retcons. Thus it should be taken seriously. It also contains a Wakandan translation key, which is quite useful. The inscriptions on the pillar may be translated using this method. They appear to lead to a new memorial to the late King T’Challa.

KING T’CHALLA – Our Hero

Although some letters are not visible due to cameras and lights, the inscriptions seem to read:

The inscription confirms that Ruler T’Challa is dead. The Wakandans have chosen to commemorate him by erecting a permanent tribute to their late king. Understandably, they would choose T’Challa above all past monarchs. It is because, despite his tragically brief rule, he had a lasting influence on Wakanda. T’Challa broke with past monarchs’ isolationist practices, disclosing his country’s secrets to the world, and forming allies among the Avengers. Wakandans fought in two major battles against Thanos’ armies, one of which took place on Wakandan land. Since Bashenga, the first Black Panther, created Wakanda, there has certainly never been a more powerful monarch.

Without a question, Black Panther 2 will be an emotional event for everyone in the production as well as viewers throughout the world. The cast and crew have lost a friend. Fans of Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther will also be rooting for him to have recognition.
