Avengers actor Jeremy Renner critical after snow plow accident in Nevada

According to his publicist, actor Jeremy Renner is in a “serious but stable condition” after suffering an injury while clearing snow in Reno, Nevada, over the weekend. According to Hollywood news website Deadline, the accident happened on Sunday, and the “Hawkeye” star is currently receiving “great treatment.” Following the incident, the site added, he was transported to the hospital. The “Avengers” and “Captain America” movies from Marvel include Renner, a two-time Oscar contender.

According to the Reno Gazette Journal’s article, the area where his home is located had severe snowfall on New Year’s Eve, which disrupted electricity to more than 35,000 residences in Washoe and adjacent counties.

For his work in “The Hurt Locker,” Renner received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor in 2010. For his work in “The Town,” he was also up for a Best Supporting Actor nomination.

Renner may now be seen in the Paramount+ streaming film “Mayor of Kingstown.” The second season of it is scheduled to premiere this month.
