Despite the simmering dispute between the royals, Prince Harry will be sitting 10 seats behind the royal family and will make a speedy exit after his father King Charles III’s coronation on May 6. According to former royal butler Paul Burrell, Harry, who lives in the United States with wife Meghan Markle and their two children, is unlikely to reconcile with his father and brother William during his impending trip to the United Kingdom. According to Paul, Harry may not even have time to speak with Charles or William.

Former royal butler Paul Burrell, who served William and Harry’s mother, the late Princess Diana, claimed that Prince Harry is attending King Charles III’s coronation simply to “show face.” Following the backlash from his memoir Spare earlier this year, as well as the Netflix series Harry and Meghan (2022), in which he insulted several members of the royal family, he stated that there is ‘no hope’ of reconciliation.

Prince Harry expected to make ‘Quick Exit’ amid rumors of cold reception from Royal Family

According to Paul Burrell of The Sun, Harry will sit 10 rows back from the rest of the royals at the coronation and will make a dramatic exit. He stated, “It is not a surprise, he is coming to show face. He is coming to put his foot in the door and he is coming because his father wants him to be there. His father will be delighted that both his sons will be there to witness this incredible day in his life. But Harry is not going to hang around.”

The coronation festivities are planned to last three days, although Harry is only expected to attend the actual crowning ceremony. Harry is rumored to be able to fly into and out of the UK in less than 24 hours, however, this has not been confirmed.

Paul Burrell further said about Harry’s UK visit, “He doesn’t want to spend much time around them. There is no chance of a reconciliation anytime soon, I’m afraid – I think he will get a very icy reception from the Windsors.”

Harry will visit his father and brother for the first time since the January publishing of his memoir Spare. He will be attending the coronation ceremony on his own. His wife, Meghan Markle, will remain in the United States with the couple’s two children, Archie and Lilibet, to celebrate Archie’s fourth birthday on May 6.
