Phoenix, Arizona — TWOFEW — (Let’s Rock Out Records); (https://www.twofewmusic.com) — have added their permanent drummer and are also announcing the release of two full length records in 2023: ‘Volume 1’ and ‘Volume 2.’
A regional rock-and-roll act, TWOFEW was founded in 2018 by husband and wife duo, Michael (vocals and keys) and Danielle Lazar (bass). Shortly after its founding, the group added Michael’s older brother David on guitar. They’ve rounded out this four-piece band with the addition of John Sebring on percussion in 2022.
To-date, the band has released six well-received and critically-acclaimed singles — including four singles that they recorded in Nashville with their producer Chris Lawrie — helping cement TWOFEW as influencers on the popular music-based social media site, Soundcloud, where their music has generated tens of millions of streams to date.
Recent critical acclaim of TWOFEW includes raving reviews from major online publications such as Planet Singer, which recently wrote: “Iconic, brilliant, and unique, TWOFEW is back with two brand new excellent singles, ‘We Were Loud’ and ‘Feel,’ two songs that are gonna stay in your mind rent-free!”
“I am really excited about where we are right now in this band,” comments Michael Lazar, founder of TWOFEW. “Especially since we’ve rounded out this group with our new drummer in John Sebring. He brings years of talent with him and possesses a drive and determination I’ve only seen a few times in my life. What’s more, it’s perfect timing in the sense that we are in the studio buttoning up our first record (‘Volume 1’); and we’ve already written more than half of our second record (‘Volume 2’) since he (Sebring) joined the group just a few months ago.”
TWOFEW plans on dropping both full length records in 2023. Lazar says: “We’ll be dropping our first full length earlier in the year, with plans to drop an immediate followup later in year, along with some light touring and some festival shows in between. We’re just getting started.”
