Ashley Russell, a fitness influencer and college student from Alabama, has come forward to claim that Adam Levine texted her on Instagram. The influencer disclosed that the Maroon 5 artist started messaging her earlier this year. This comes after four additional women recounted their own similar experiences with the musician, Russell revealed the father-of-two.
According to Ashley Russell, the Instagram conversations started on March 13. The 21-year-old asserted that the Moves Like Jagger singer would message her “nearly every night at around 10 pm” and follow her Instagram stories.
When the two met online, Russell, who was 20 at the time, said that she had observed that her Instagram story “was constantly viewed by him. She also added: “He would like mainly like booty stories and would always reply with something to do with leg or booty day at the gym.”
One of Adam Levine’s texts reads as follows: “Leg day. The most important and the easiest to skip.”
In a different message, he first inquired about Russell’s college status before complimenting her legs. “nice work on legs. #commitment.”
Russell stated that after she warned him about getting caught, Adam Levine stopped contacting her on Instagram. He nevertheless persisted in following her stories. And she said: “I think this is the true meaning of disrespect towards a woman. It makes me very sad that he is married and does this immature thing.”
She further added: “I wonder what his feed looks like… all young women? Very off to me.”

Ashley Russell is a college student and an influencer on Instagram who has 4,383 followers at the time Levine texted her. Her social media page is filled with pictures and reels from her workouts and has images where she is seen flaunting her figure. Her Instagram bio states, “health x exercise.” Although Russell seems to be new to the influencer community, it has not stopped her from posting regularly to grow a following. She also has a series of Instagram stories that are mostly focused on fitness. As of now, it seems like the influencer has not been sponsored by any brand. However, with a rising fan base, fans should anticipate it happening soon.
Instagram model Sumner Stroh was the first to accuse Levine of cheating before Russell did. Yoga instructor Alanna Zabel accused him of sending her improper messages after her.
Alyson Rose and comedian Maryka both alleged that Levine flirtatiously interacted with them.
