- Ross and Rachel were always going to end together. Even though sometimes it didn’t seem like it. It was always there in the storyline, After all, as Phoebe says he’s her lobster and for Ross, “It’s always been you, Rach.”
2. Courtney Cox was originally supposed to play Rachel. But she rejected it to play Monica. According to her, she is a strong character and a neat freak which related to Courtney Cox more. On the sets, she had the neatest dressing room and used to always clean other actors’ dressing rooms as well. The dressing rooms must be so clean, actually not just clean but Monica clean.
3. FRIENDS was shot before a live crowd comprising of 300 fans beside cliffhangers. It was a test to see whether the jokes and story and so forth worked or not.
4. Matthew Perry battled with liquor addiction all through the shooting of the show. He would regularly show up on the sets with a horrible hangover. In an interview, he said that he had no recollections of shooting three seasons of FRIENDS.
