Scold your boss without fear: This US firm makes it possible

A recently established US-based company is helping employees voice their grievances by anonymously “scolding” their bosses. The firm, OCDA (Organized Complaint Delivery Agency), offers a bold and unorthodox approach to workplace frustrations for those who fear professional repercussions.

Founded by a comedian, the service goes viral

OCDA was founded in 2024 by stand-up comedian and actor Calimar White, who is already well-known for his comedic takes on workplace struggles, boasting 280,000 followers on Instagram. The service gained widespread attention after a TikTok influencer, “The Feedski,” shared a video about it on November 7. The post quickly went viral, garnering over 9.4 million views and sparking global interest.

Mission: fostering respect through confrontation

According to its official website, OCDA operates as a non-profit organization with a mission to “rectify complaints and create a better work environment.” The company aims to ensure employee grievances are acknowledged while fostering a culture of accountability and respect in workplaces.

How the service works

The process begins when a client submits a request detailing their workplace complaint. From there, a designated “scolder” confronts the targeted individual—whether a boss or colleague—either in person or over the phone. During the confrontation, the scolder follows a “cussing script” crafted from the client’s complaints, delivering the message firmly regardless of how the recipient reacts. For clients in remote areas, the company offers its services via phone calls.

Additionally, OCDA shares videos of these interactions on its official YouTube channel, which currently boasts over 80,000 followers.

Recruitment: Unconventional criteria for scolders

OCDA is actively hiring “scolders” through social media, but the job comes with unusual requirements. Candidates must meet specific criteria, such as being a parent who frequently uses strong language with their kids and having experience growing up in a single-parent household.

Social media reacts

The service has sparked widespread reactions online, with many applauding the idea as innovative and empowering. “This guy will be a millionaire in no time. What a genius idea!” commented one user on social media.

Another user quipped, “The company is delivering 5-star service to their clients’ bosses with a 1-star attitude.” Calls for expansion have also poured in. “Please bring this to China. I urgently need this!” exclaimed one commenter. Some saw humor in the job posting. “Mum, I think I’ve found my career path!” joked another.

A bold step in workplace culture

While some may view OCDA’s services as unconventional, the company has ignited a conversation about workplace grievances, mental health, and the need for accountability in professional environments. Whether a fleeting trend or the start of a workplace revolution, OCDA’s approach is certainly capturing the world’s attention.
