Doja Cat stops live performance to help a distressed fan

Doja Cat recently stopped during her performance at Lollapalooza Argentina after noticing an audience member in distress.

According to Billboard, during a performance of her song ‘Options,’ the diva paused and directed the sound to be cut during viral footage from her set.

“Yo. Cut it!” she can be seen shouting in the clip streamed from the festival. “Wait, wait, wait. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Somebody needs help over there. Is that right? Am I right? Somebody needs help?” “I love you guys, I really do. We can’t have that happening,” she said to the crowd, explaining why she stopped her show.

“I’m sorry, I can’t keep going if things aren’t good,” she also added, her gaze fixed on the individual in front of her to check if the person was alright.

The singer and rapper went on to explain that the most important thing that night was for everyone to get home safely.

She also said,  “It’s nobody’s fault. This stuff happens. There are a lot of people, and people get crushed. It’s a lot. If you could see the point of view that I’m seeing it from, it’s a lot of people … Don’t get, you know, sad or upset. I’ll be back. I will. I will, I promise.

Once Doja Cat assured everyone was good, she exclaimed, “Let’s go!” and launched into her classic “Say So,” with fans singing along, to close off her concert, which also included headliners The Strokes and Machine Gun Kelly.

It is so important for us humans to check on each other all the time. We may never know what one may feel on the inside even though he might look very happy. Mental health is as important as physical health. Now, more than ever, mental health is vital. Almost every facet of life can get better if we put our minds to it. The value of mental health is also reflected in everything we do, think, and say.
