With the recent addition of “Message Yourself,” a new feature to the meta-owned instant messaging service WhatsApp, you can now send notes and set reminders without the need for a hack. Users will be able to communicate messages, images, videos, and audio within the app with one another thanks to this functionality.

The company has stated that the feature will be rolled out to all WhatsApp users in the coming weeks, so you may have to wait a few days before using the Message Yourself feature on your smartphone. WhatsApp Message Yourself will be available for both iPhone and Android smartphone users.

To get ‘Message Yourself’ on WhatsApp, make sure to update your app

Update your app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store to get WhatsApp’s Message Yourself feature. When you open the upgraded WhatsApp app and select Create a New Chat, your personal phone number will be displayed in the contacts section. Finally, choose your phone number and begin messaging.

Users will be able to forward messages or multimedia files from other discussions within the app as well as share notes with one another using this functionality. Additionally, you can make voice memos and take private images and videos on WhatsApp.

This is a nifty feature for those who use WhatsApp as a note-taking app

For those who use WhatsApp as a note-taking app, this is a useful feature. Users will be able to see these messages on all of the connected devices because WhatsApp is accessible on desktops and the web. In the upcoming days, WhatsApp is also anticipated to get capabilities like voice status, voice calls via the web, and more.
