Queen Elizabeth II ‘died of a broken heart’, claims royal expert Katie Nicholl

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, royal expert Katie Nicholl stated that Queen Elizabeth II “ultimately died of a broken heart,” adding that the late monarch was never the same after Prince Philip’s death.

“Elizabeth wouldn’t be the Queen that she was without the support of Philip. He supported her in everything she did in life. Something in her died when he went,” Nicholl said.

Queen and Prince Philip were married for 74 years when the prince passed away in April 2021. The pair got married in 1947.

Queen had everything planned

Nicholl also stated that the Queen had everything planned, so her coffin was interred alongside Prince Philip’s coffin in the same royal crypt. Following the private service, both Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip’s caskets were taken to King George VI’s Memorial Chapel. (Valium)

According to the royal expert, she wanted her beloved to wait for her in the royal vault because she knew she wouldn’t be alive for long and wanted to make her final voyage with Phillip by her side.

The official cause of the Queen’s death has yet to be revealed.

The state funeral for Queen Elizabeth II was held at Westminster Abbey, and her committal service was scheduled for Windsor.
