A YouTube video purporting to show the discovery of a German bunker in the Bermuda Triangle has recently gone viral.
While YouTube is no stranger to wild conspiracy theories, users took notice of this particular clip, which showed Joe Roagn speculating with Elon Musk about the discovery of a German bunker in the Bermuda Triangle.
The truth about the German bunker discovered in the Bermuda Triangle
The YouTube video surfaced just days after tech billionaire Elon Musk appeared on Joe Rogan’s podcast for the fourth time earlier this month. In the YouTube video, Rogan declares that an advanced German bunker from the World War II era was discovered just a few hours ago, to which Musk audibly responds, “Yeah, I’ve heard of it.”
Rogan then goes on a rambling rant about moon bases, extraterrestrial life, and secret space projects. He went on to say:
“And nobody knows how the Germans built in this depth and why they needed and completed a working bunker in the Bermuda Triangle. But the strange thing is, one of them took a photo and posted it and you can see this is way too expensive just for a prank or something.”
The claims in the video perplexed viewers as Rogan continued to draw parallels between the bunker and UFO sightings. While some people wanted to know more about the bunker, others pointed out that the video was obviously a hoax.

Joe Rogan and Elon Musk met for the fourth time on Rogan’s podcast
However, the footage in the clip is generated by AI. If you pay attention to Rogan’s and Musk’s mouths, you’ll notice that the words heard in the video do not correspond to their lip movements.
It appears that people spliced together words uttered by the duo in different instances or used an AI voice generator to create fake footage alleging the discovery of the Bermuda Triangle bunker.’
The only factual aspect of the video was that Joe Rogan and Elon Musk did meet for the fourth time earlier this month on Rogan’s podcast, where they mostly discussed X, formerly known as Twitter.
The duo discussed the advent of AI during the interview, and based on the tone of the podcast, it appeared Musk was terrified of AI’s potential threat to humanity.
Musk expressed his concerns in the podcast, saying that AI poses an existential threat as it becomes more anti-human, and that we need a regulating authority to monitor its progress.
Musk said: “You have to say, ‘How could AI go wrong?’, well, if AI gets programmed by the extinctionists its utility function will be the extinction of humanity.”
The tech billionaire made the remarks just hours before flying to the United Kingdom for the AI Safety Summit on November 2 at Bletchley Park in Buckinghamshire.
