How did ‘Joesthetics’ Jo Lindner die?
Joesthetics’ girlfriend, Nicha, known online as @immapeaches, paid tribute to the late bodybuilder on Saturday, saying that aneurysm caused his death. Nicha is a Thai bodybuilder and fitness trainer with over 140K Instagram followers.
In her post, Nicha claimed Jo Lindner had reported neck pain just days earlier.
“He was in my arms.. this is just happening too fast.. 3 days ago he kept saying that he pain his neck .. we did not really realize it… until it was too late,” she said in her post.
In his last Instagram post, Jo Lindner mentioned that “when I lost my gains because I went off everything for 1 year but then could not recover my own test levels so went back on TRT,” referring to testosterone replacement therapy (often referred to as TRT therapy used to restore normal levels of the hormone).
” Trust me I tried to stop but be aware it might have long-term effects on your life. TRT is a big commitment keep that in mind,” Jo Lindner said in his last post.
Medical professionals have warned people about the risks of testosterone therapy and other medications in an article published on Harvard Health.
“Men on long-term using forms of testosterone therapy long term appear to have a higher risk of cardiovascular problems, like heart attacks, strokes, and deaths from heart disease. Some physicians also have a lingering concern that testosterone therapy could stimulate the growth of prostate cancer cells. As with the hypothetical cardiac risks, the evidence is mixed. But because prostate cancer is so common, doctors tend to be leery of prescribing testosterone to men who may be at risk,” the article read
What is aneurysm?
An aneurysm happens when a portion of an artery wall weakens, enabling it to abnormally inflate out or enlarge, according to the American Heart Association. Aside from inherited factors, an aneurysm can be caused by an injury. Having a family history of aneurysm may increase your risk of developing one. Other risk factors include high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and tobacco use, according to the American Heart Association’s website.
