Porsche 918 Spyder – 218mph – The 918 model recorded a top speed of  218.4mph. The car has a hybrid powertrain consisting of a naturally aspirated 4.6-liter V-8 with 599 hp and twin electric motors with 282 hp each. A total of 875 hp and a mind-boggling 944 ft-lbs of torque.

Aston Martin One – 77

Aston Martin One - 77

Aston Martin One – 77 – 220mph – The car gained its name by the production of limited units. After the series of test runs, the speed was determined. It has a capability of 220mph. Cosworth 7.3 liter V -12 engine with 750 hp is situated under the hood of the car. This accelerates the aluminum-and-carbon-fiber chassis from zero to 60mph in 3.5 seconds. Making it one of the fastest cars in the world.

McLaren F1.

McLaren F1 – 240.1mph – Designed by Gordon Murray. This iconic 3 seater model is said to be the first-ever carbon fiber-bodied car. It featured a 6.1 liter V-12. This resulted in 618 hp and 479 ft-lbs of torque. It accelerates from zero to 60mph in 3.2 seconds and zero to 100mph requires just 6.3 seconds.

Tesla Roadster – 250mph (claimed) – Tesla claims 620 miles of range with 200 kWh battery power. The four-seater supercar takes only 1.9 seconds to reach 60mph.

Bugatti Veyron

Bugatti Veyron

Bugatti Veyron 253mph – Launched in  2005 by Bugatti, it was one of the fastest and most expensive cars of that time. The car claims to have the highest speed of 253mph. This is only possible due to the 8.0-liter W-16 engine. This has resulted in 1001 horsepower and mind-boggling 921 ft-lbs of torque. This propels you to 60mph in 2.5 seconds, 124mph in 7.3 seconds, and 186mph in 16.7 seconds.
