Over 24,000 US-spec Model 3 cars from the years 2017 to 2022 are being recalled by Tesla due to a seat belt problem. The second-row left seat belt buckle and second-row centre seat belt anchor may have been improperly reassembled during vehicle service, according to the Austin-based electric car manufacturer.
It alerted the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that there had been 105 service fixes reported for US vehicles, including warranty claims, that were or might have been connected to the recall issue.
