Thousands of people are perplexed by the remnants of a mysterious creature, i.e., a Mermaid, that was discovered on an Australian beach. The bones were discovered by Bobbi-lee Oates, 34, last week while she was walking along Long Beach in Keppel Sands, Queensland. Before noticing that the rest of the creature’s body resembled a mermaid’s skeleton, Oates was impressed by the creature’s skull, which resembled a human skull strikingly. “We were driving along the beach looking for a campsite, and we couldn’t help but notice how much the skull looked to be in the shape of a human’s,” she was quoted as saying by The Mirror. “So we instantly stopped from the confusion as to what the hell could this be, and why does this look like a human skull?”
“It had the exact shape of a mermaid”
Oates posted images of the unidentified critter on Facebook and requested assistance in identifying it. There were several competing theories. One individual commented, “You just caught a mermaid.” Another concurred, “That’s a siren or mermaid. (mypatraining.com) The creature, according to Oates, had a mermaid-like shape. “It featured an elongated jawline, a human-shaped cranium, and hair that resembled that of a cow or kangaroo, but that was absent in several places owing to decomposition.
She continued, “It had the exact shape of a mermaid, but it was hairy since it seemed to have a tail or leg of some sort. Many people are interpreting her tweet as unmistakable evidence of mermaids’ existence, while the majority of people are still dubious. Several people had different theories. “Doesn’t look like a marine animal. It’s got a leg. It’s also very hairy,” one Facebook user wrote. “Looks like a dead seal/sea lion,” another said. “That is a one-legged kangaroo carcass,” a third declared.
