Australian crocodile expert Adam Britton admits to raping puppies and killing 39 dogs

Adam Britton (51), a famous crocodile expert and former Charles Darwin University academic, pled guilty to 56 counts of animal cruelty against canines and four counts of accessing and sharing child abuse material. From 2014 until his arrest in April 2022, he sexually molested and tormented 42 dogs, including puppies, of whom 39 died. Britton, who once hosted legendary broadcaster and biologist David Attenborough, was arrested and will be sentenced on December 13.

Using deceptive methods to obtain dogs

Apart from hurting his own dogs, Britton obtained a large number of canines via Gumtree Australia, fooling unsuspecting owners in the Darwin area. He established rapport with the dog owners and negotiated taking custody of the canines, which was frequently necessary owing to the owners’ travel or job commitments. He had a shipping container on his property that was outfitted with a recording setup, which he referred to as a “torture room.” Also, he posted videos and photographs of the act on online sites under numerous aliases after filming it.
