Who is UFOlogist Jaime Maussan? All you need to know about the person who unveiled the "alien corpses" at the Mexico Congress

Jaime Maussan claims to be an expert in Unidentified Flying Objects and Extraterrestrial Life. On Tuesday, the Congress of Mexico City saw an extraordinary occasion in which two claimed mummified “alien corpses” were shown in the midst of scientists and ET researchers. Jaime Maussan, who claims to be an expert in Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) and ETs, organized the event. Maussan is a UFOlogist who works as a journalist in Mexico. He has worked for well-known Mexican media outlets such as TV Azteca and 60 Minutes.

We are not alone in this vast universe, we should embrace this reality”: Maussan

Maussan stated in 2015 that a mummy unearthed near the Nazca Lines in Peru was that of an alien. However, according to Snopes.com, the assertion was proved to be untrue. According to their findings, the mummified corpse belonged to a human infant. Maussan is regarded as a hoax promoter for these reasons. Maussan and experts were present at the unveiling of two claimed mummified “alien corpses” at Mexico City’s Congress on Tuesday. Maussan stated the bodies were around 1000 years old and were discovered in Cusco, Peru. He further noted that more than 30% of the DNA in the specimens was ‘unknown’.

Addressing members of the Mexican government and US officials at the event, Maussan said under oath, “These specimens are not part of our terrestrial evolution… These aren’t beings that were found after a UFO wreckage. They were found in diatom (algae) mines, and were later fossilized.” The specimens, according to Maussan, were examined by the Autonomous National University of Mexico (UNAM). He asserts that experts extracted DNA from the bones and used radiocarbon dating to assess age. During the event, Maussan also said, “‘The public has a right to know about non-human technology and non-human entities. We are discussing a topic uniting humanity, not separating us.”

“We are not alone in this vast universe, we should embrace this reality,” he added. Maussan also presented many movies purportedly of UFOs and unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) at the occasion. Experts displayed X-rays of the specimens and stated that one of the bodies contained “eggs” within. They claimed that both specimens had implants made of extremely rare metals like Osmium.
